Going Private

Due to the recent robbery of our home, I feel the need to protect my family as much as possible. So, this will be the last 'public' post on my blog. I will once again make this a private blog.

For those who don't know what happened and want a few details here you go..... we went to AZ to see Wicked (which was AWESOME!) and while we were gone someone broke into our home. They broke a window in the basement and kicked open the back door. It would have been better if we had just left it unlocked since the deadbolt shattered the door casing. They only stole about $1000 worth of stuff so it could have been SO much worse! We were very lucky. And they made some big mistakes which will make it easy to track them down. I don't expect to ever find our stuff but I sure hope they capture them. But still if you add the cost of the broken door, window, and stolen items, it ended up costing us a lot of money. We will be getting a home security system. Espically since a month and a half ago we had some one try to open the front door at 12:10 am while we were home. We kind of feel like our house has been targeted. It is going to be a fortress when we are done! We are making all kinds of changes to safe guard our family, including what we put on the internet.
