We took the girlies to their first Base Ball game. Minor league of course. Salt Lake isn't good enough for the real stuff. And I just wouldn't be me if I didn't take a zillion photos.
And yes, all these photos were taken while the game was in progress. We were really into can ya tell? Actually the girls had a really good time.
This is view from our seats. Not bad, only 15 rows up I think.
Then the stupid guys started walking around selling goodies. $5.00 for one bag of cotton candy. Sugar is pretty expensive these days. Hard to find too since there is such a shortage in the world. Dad decided to spoil us all and bought some. Some nasty pink flavored fluff and good tasting blue.
And one cannot eat cotton candy and stay clean at the same time.
Nasty pink flavor! Trust me.
After everyone was sufficiantly coated in sticky goo, I decided to ruin their fun and make everyone go and wash it off. I never claim to be a nice mom.
After the goo incident, Stew decided to look for different seats. We had tall people sitting in front of us and because I am vertically challenged I couldn't see anything but the outfield thanks to the overgrown head. I doubt the kids could see anything either. So we moved to the upper level and had front row seats right to the side of home plate. I liked these seats better anyway!
Then it was time to whip out the glow sticks. (Thanks All a Dollar!) The girls wouldn't wait until it was dark.
Ash had her eye on the 'Bee'. Keeping tabs of where he was in the stadium and such. So when he was spotted on our side of the stadium she made a 'bee' line for him. hehehehe
Ash kept telling him over and over, "I love you Bee!" I think a marriage proposal would have happened had I not interveened. Ash also loved to play with his massive bum/stinger. Little pervert! I had to finally pull her away so the poor Bee wouldn't be violated any longer.
Ash hasn't been cooperating much when the camera comes out. She refused to be in this photo. Her loss.
I finally threatened her with her life if she wouldn't let me take her pic. She still had her stitches in. I don't know if you noticed her crooked smile but that is because she damaged the nerve when she fell and the Dr. said it could take a few weeks to heal. So for now she has a crooked smile, but it's still cute.
This is what the kids spent a lot of the time doing: goofin off. Typical. But they enjoyed it and that was the point right?
Hopefully there will be more games in our future! But for now, these pics will have to hold us over.

That looks like so much fun. I really wish we lived closer! I'm gonna keep saying that till it happens, I guess. And seriously, what the heck is going on with Ask and not wanting her picture taken? The others can't get their picture taken enough!
