The twins get earings!

The first picture of Hailey is what started the 'ear piercing' fiasco. We came back from swimming on Wednesday night and one of her earrings was missing. I wasn't about to search the pool for it. I didn't want her to go very long with out an earring in so we were going to get a replacement. She is so sad because 3 days after her ears were pierced her studs fell out. I had to put in a different pair of studs and it was really painful and not a fun memory. So, when I told Hailey that we needed to get new ones she started to panic. I put in one of my earrings to show her that it wouldn't hurt. She still wasn't convinced, but she did look pretty cute with that huge earring!

The next 48 hours the twins begged us to let them get their ears pierced. So on Friday night we decided to let them join the club. They were SO excited!!! We tried to tell them that it would hurt a little but that didn't seem to be a concern for them. Little did they know......

We made Ashley go first and as you can see she couldn't wait. After it was done, she was in major shock! We were able to prevent the tears but she was about to break down. Naturally after a few minutes she was excited she had them. Addy went next and was giddy. I have to say that Stewart couldn't have timed his pictures any better! You can see the sequence of events when Addy gets hers done. It was so cute! It didn't last long though. Just a few minutes and then she was just as excited as Ashley.
