Signing Time Debut...

Here is a link to the 'teaser' that was released and yes Kaitlyn and Hailey are in it! The new films will be released in September. The ended up filming 13 new episodes. If your interested in watching Signing Time check on their website for the times. PBS picked them up and they are now playing across the country! After you click on the link you will need to scroll down until you see a video clip from youtube.

Signing Time Video Clip...........

This was the first day of filming! The kids were told to go and play while the camera man followed them around. Kaitlyn and Hailey think that the park we went to is a 'Signing Time Park'. They did use this clip of Hailey spinning in one of the movies, but it was filmed from a different angle.

Hailey spent a lot of time on this toy.

This was Kailtyn's best friend on set,
Cassie. They filmed these two together several times.

You would think that blowing bubbles into a camera would be a piece of cake right? But it took about 15 minutes to get what they needed. Kailtyn LOVES being in front of the camera! They had about 400 kids audition and only about 40 made it. I was told that Kaitlyn was in the top 5 of their best signers! She ended up with a lot of 'air time'.

This is a group shot. All of the kids had to wave at the camera. Getting them to all do it on cue was a lot harder than I would have ever guessed! It took about 5-6 takes to get it right.

I put it right under that first paragraph and right above the pictures. It shows up on my computer and worked for me. I just hope that isn't because I made the blog. Let me know if you still can't find it.

The video is on Rachel's blog page. You just have to scroll down about half way and then you will see the clip. It won't take you to youtube.
